A Stormy Blizzard

These gorgeous blizzard images were photographed inside a photographer’s studio. Thank you Joey L. for sharing and taking us behind the scenes…

As a photographer, I’m constantly striving to learn more, and I greatly appreciate it when other photographers share, show, and educate others.

The behind the scenes video is not to be missed.  Please click here to view all the images from the shoot.

Summer Splash

Inspiration for an upcoming photo shoot…yes, it will be messy and fun!  Gina Tricot swimwear modeled by Shanina Shaik.  Photographer unknown.

And, now that I’ve watched the video, I’ll have the catchy tune, which is fresh, flirty, fun, and way too perfect for summer, in my head all day.   Yay!  The days of summer are here!  Woo Hoo!

Saturday Loves 06

Three cheers for the weekend!  I just returned from an amazing Pilates inspired stretching class…so much to do this weekend, I don’t know where to begin…so I’ll simply start by wishing you a terrific weekend!

Meanwhile,  here are a few links to delightful posts that caught my eye this past week. Wishing you the very best!

I’m quite taken by this image…I love the color palette, texture, and movement (melting ice cream).   Makes me smile.  Photographed by Parker Fitzgerald for Kinfolk Magazine Volume 7.

Adore the lovely contrasts between the delicate misty pale pink peonies and the coarsely textured brick building.  Photographed by Alice Gao.

I’m excited to meet Alex Buono, Director of Photography, for Saturday Night Live’s Film Unit during The Art of Visual Storytelling Tour.  Multiple Summer Tour dates.  Catch the tour in your city!

Incredibly  bold  and  graphic!    Gregory  Allen  photographed  Vasilisa  Pavlova  in Naucalpan, Mexico for Harper’s Bazaar Latin America April 2013.  source: FGR

Warm and inviting…Kook Osteria & Pizzeria located near Rome, Italy.  How could anyone resist an olive tree growing in the atrium, bordeaux leather sofas and glass chandeliers?  Designed by Noses Architects via Yatzer.

A Brand New Week

“The artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without work.”

Quote: Émile Zola, French writer

Good Morning.  Happy Monday!

How quickly the weekend came and went.  It feels as though Friday morphed into Sunday overnight!

Although, it passed quickly, I had a wonderful time dining at Nobu.  The bite sized Lobster tacos are truly addictive…incredibly proud of myself for stopping at six, which sounds quite gluttonous; however, I assure you, they are bite size.

A heart felt and loving thank you to wonderful hubby for finding a quality treadmill on sale; and reconfiguring it into a treadmill desk work station.  Now, I’m able to burn calories while working, just in time for swimsuit season.

Wishing you a beautifully joyous and productive week!

Parisian Countryside Wedding

This gorgeous wedding for New York Interior Designer and stylist, Kelly d’Halluin was inspired by the fête champêtre, an 18th-century elegant garden party.

The Château de Bevilliers was built in the 17th-century and features a medieval colombier,  or dovecote.  The Château is located on the Île-de-France in the Valley of Chevreuse 22 miles southwest of Paris.

The bridal flowers are breathtaking and feature Grouse feathers, ferns, mint, orchids, peonies, and mixed butterflies from Deyrolle.

I absolutely love the color palette and the manner in which natural and rustic elements were intertwined with elegant flourishes…quite refined and stylish.     Click here for additional details.
