Happy December! For our household, today marks the official start of the Christmas season. There are so many wonderful things to love about December…a few of my favorites: chilly sun-streaked days, holiday baking, steaming mugs of frothy hot chocolate, homemade stockings hung with care, crackling warm fires, pine scented wreaths greeting arrivals at the front door, strands of old-fashioned outdoor C9 Christmas lights, Christmas inspired editorials, and of course, spending time with loved ones.
I hope your week is off to a beautifully pleasant start. Cheers!
One of my favorite things about Autumn are the beautiful jewel tones found in Mother Nature—deep crimson, hearty bordeaux, and rich pumpkin-orange. At this time of year, I love scouring the Los Angeles Flower Market for these jeweled beauties.
Much to my surprise, I am loving this quilted leather biker’s jacket. I’ve never owned nor have I had the slightest interest in purchasing leather garments, that is until now…and I’m quite smitten with the metallic green finger nail polish, which is a huge departure from my usual french manicures…what has become of me?
Lauren Conrad enlisted the talented design editors at Domaine to re-imagine the work space for Conrad’s fashion label Paper Crown. Located in West Los Angeles, the space utilizes a conversational floor plan and a mélange of modern, vintage, and repurposed furnishings.

Hooray, for a brand new week! Rise and Shine. No matter where you find yourself, or what, your circumstances may be; please know without a doubt that your best days are ahead of you! Warmest wishes for an inspired, fabulous, and productive week.

Can you believe it’s the first weekend of November? My, it seems as though the days are supersonically flashing by…how is it November already?
What wonderful things have you planned for this weekend? As for me, hubby and I, have been caught off guard by unexpected car repairs that totaled $1,900.00. So, it’s going to be a quiet weekend…filled with pilates, reading, chores, and home cooked meals.

Many years ago, I discovered Anna Williams photography, and I’ve been smitten ever since. Williams ongoing series, The Voracity, continues to explore beauty, consumption, and hunger in an imaginative, original, and ground breaking manner.
This is an awesome list! And, I’m happy to say that I incorporate and live by all the items listed on a daily and weekly basis …except for 76.
Number 76 is the one item from the list that I must improve on. I tend to wait until everything is perfect, all of my ducks lined up neatly in a straight line, then I proceed—slowly and overly cautious because I want 100% success. Even though, I know, that sometimes it’s best to simply start where you are, with what you have, and build, grow and strengthen from there.
